EventGuard Insurance is automatically added to your Fixed Scheduled Events and Teams.

When a client opts-in to insurance at checkout, you (the business) are not responsible for reimbursing non-refundable, unused registration fees, should the participant be unable to participate in the event due to a covered illness or injury.

The client would instead work directly with the insurance company (support@patterninsurance.com) to receive reimbursement thus minimizing the hassle for your business and giving the client peace of mind that their money is not lost due to something unexpected happening.

Client Insurance  Things to note

  • If you would still like to process refunds on orders that have purchased insurance, you will be able to do that but the insurance amount will not be refunded. The only way for the client to get a refund for the insurance amount is by contacting support@getupperhand.com or support@patterninsurance.com and will only be refunded if the event is cancelled.
