Unclaimed Account

In this article, learn what it means when a client is listed as an unclaimed account.

If a client creates an account in your business instance on their own (without you inviting them to the software), they will receive a verification email once they finish the account creation process. If the client never actually verifies their account, you will see their status listed as Unclaimed Account.

A client has 30 days to verify their email address after account creation before being locked out of their account. If a client needs resent the verification email, you can navigate to their name in the Contacts page and click the Remind action button to resend it or Update Invite to change their email on file.
